Finish your store setup checklist

After signup, your dashboard shows a "Finish setting up your store" checklist. Completing it does two things: it makes your storefront worth visiting, and it gets you listed in the KioSnap marketplace where customers discover local stores.

It has seven lines: "Add your items", "Set your location and hours", "Upload your logo and brand colours", "Tell your brand story", "Add photos of your store", "Link your social profiles" and "Share your storefront link". Stores with tables on a plan with table management also see "Create tables and QR codes". Each line's "Set up →" takes you to the right page.

  1. Add your items

    Customers can only order once your menu is live. Use the AI scan for a head start, or add items manually. Even three good items with photos beat thirty bare ones. (On a shop the line reads "Add your products".)

  2. Set your location and hours

    One line for both: it ticks only when your location and your opening hours are both saved. Its "Set up →" opens Store profile first, then Operating hours ("Save hours"). These are shown on your storefront so customers can find you, and your city is what places you in local marketplace searches.

  3. Upload your logo and brand colours

    In Branding, tap "Upload a logo" and "Upload a banner", pick the suggested palette or your own colours, then tap "Save branding". Your logo appears on your storefront, QR codes and receipts.

  4. Tell your brand story and add photos of your store

    These are two separate lines, both done on the Settings page "Story and gallery". Write why you started and what makes you special (customers actually read this) and tap "Save story", then add photos of your store so it feels like a real place.

  5. Link your social profiles

    Instagram, WhatsApp and more, shown on your storefront so customers can follow you. Tap "Save changes" when done.

  6. Share your storefront link

    Tap "Copy link" on the checklist line itself and put it on your WhatsApp status, Instagram bio and your counter. Only that "Copy link" ticks the line; copying from Settings › Share and QR does not. Your store is open. Tell people.

Good to know

  • Your store appears in the KioSnap marketplace automatically, within about a minute of adding items and your location. No approval step.
  • The checklist is only visible to you (the owner). Once every line is done it disappears from your dashboard by itself, and you can also dismiss it earlier.
