Track expenses & see real profit
Video walkthrough coming soon
Follow the written steps below — they cover everything the video will show.
Revenue is vanity, profit is sanity. The Expenses ledger captures what you spend, breaks it down by category, and feeds your analytics so you see what's actually left at the end of the month.
Expenses are available on every plan, free included.
Open Expenses
Tap "Expenses" in the sidebar. The Ledger shows the month's total, what came from the cash drawer, your biggest cost, and a "Where the money went" chart.
Tap "+ Add expense"
Enter the date, amount, a Category (Ingredients & stock, Rent, Salaries & wages, Utilities…) and "Paid from" — Cash drawer, Bank, UPI or Card. Add a short note and tap "Record".
Let drawer expenses meet the Day Book
Anything marked "Paid from: Cash drawer" automatically counts against that day's expected drawer cash — so your evening count tallies.
Set up recurring costs once
Switch to the "Recurring" tab and tap "+ Add recurring" for rent, salaries or licences. Pick the amount, how it repeats (every month or week) and on which day — it posts itself into the ledger from then on.
Pause or edit anytime
Each recurring template can be paused, resumed or deleted, and you can edit any entry it creates.
💡 Good to know
- Recurring templates set for day 29–31 post on the last day of shorter months, so February never gets skipped.
- Log expenses honestly for one full month and your analytics start showing true profit — most vendors find at least one surprise.
