Video walkthrough coming soon

Follow the written steps below โ€” they cover everything the video will show.

The Day Book answers the question every cash business asks at night: does the drawer match the sales? It tracks what you collected by Cash, UPI and Card, works out what the drawer should hold, and locks each day into a monthly ledger.

  1. Open Day Book

Tap "Day Book" in the sidebar. The Daily view shows today's collections โ€” Cash, UPI, Card and the total, refunds included.

  2. Set your opening float

In the "๐Ÿ—„๏ธ Cash Drawer" card, tap "Edit" next to "Opening float" and enter the change money the drawer started the day with.

  3. Log cash taken from the drawer

Add any cash expenses โ€” supplies, staff advances โ€” right in the drawer card. The breakdown then shows exactly what the drawer should hold: float + cash sales โˆ’ cash expenses.

  4. Settle outstanding balances first

If any orders still owe money, a warning tells you โ€” collect or settle them on the Counter board so your totals are accurate.

  5. Count and close

In "๐Ÿ”’ Close Day", enter the cash you actually counted. A live chip shows "Tallies exactly โœ“", "Over by โ‚นโ€”" or "Short by โ‚นโ€”". Optionally verify UPI and card against your payment app, add a note, and tap "Close Day".

  6. Correct mistakes without fear

Closed the wrong number? "Reopen to correct" unlocks the day โ€” corrections are tracked, never lost.

๐Ÿ’ก Good to know

  • Missed a few days? One drawer count can close them all together โ€” the app offers "Close 3 Days Together" automatically.
  • A reminder banner follows you around the dashboard until yesterday's book is closed (or skipped).
  • Switch to the Monthly view for the month's ledger โ€” every closed day, totals and differences in one table.
