Match KioSnap to your team size
A solo vendor shouldn't tap four buttons per order, and a full team shouldn't have steps happen by themselves. Staffing modes tune the order flow to how you actually work, and switching is always safe: your order history and reports stay identical.
Open Settings → How you work
Tap "Settings" in the sidebar (owner only), then pick "How you work" under Operations. The card marked "Active" is how your Counter runs today.
Pick the preset that matches your day
"On my own" is 2 taps per order, Accept and Food ready: cooking starts the moment you accept, paid or not, and ready orders clear themselves after 5 minutes. "Counter and kitchen" means the counter accepts and collects payment; paid orders reach the kitchen screen instantly, unpaid ones wait until you collect, and ready orders clear themselves after 10 minutes. "Full team" makes every step a deliberate hand-off (accept, start preparing, food ready, handed over) with nothing happening automatically. Tapping a card switches you straight away, and orders already on your board follow the new mode.
Set how new orders are accepted
Above the mode cards, turn on "Accept before payment" (under "Money") to add an "Accept and collect later" button below Cash and UPI on the Counter; unpaid orders show a balance due and wait under Payment due until you collect. "Unanswered orders" sets how long a new order can wait for someone to accept it before it is cancelled on its own (pick a chip, or "Custom"); orders already on the board keep their timer. Both stay as you set them when you switch presets.
Fine-tune under Advanced
Tap "Advanced" to adjust each piece yourself: "Start preparing automatically", "Clear finished orders" and "Clear after" (how many minutes to wait), "Nudge me after" (how long an order may wait before the counter flags it), and "Remind me about the kitchen after". Choosing a preset resets these to its values, so pick the preset first and fine-tune after.
Check the Counter
There is no Save button: every tap saves on the spot and shows "Saved". Open "Counter" and the line under its title ends with your mode: "Solo", "Counter + kitchen" or "Full team".
Good to know
- Start with the honest answer for today, not your ambition. You can switch the day you hire.
- Every business type other than Food & Beverages, bakeries included, sees "Order acceptance" here instead: a single "Accept orders automatically" switch for the fulfilment board.
